Just like Paris has that Left Bank v. Right Bank debate, NYC has Uptown v. Downtown thing going on. With our HQ in SoHo, we’re a Downtown company (not gonna lie) - but make no mistake, Uptown has its charms, too. From a charming French dinner (Downtown) to a classical concert in Central Park (Uptown), here’s what’s on our radar this week.
2 Course French Dinner for Two with Wine at Delice & Sarrasin

This picture-perfect creperie couldn’t belong anywhere except West Village (or Paris, natch). The decor is straight out of your French fantasies, and the delicious savory and sweet crepes are absolument magnifique.
6/14 Museum Mile Festival

The annual festival brings together the 7 world-class institutions along this stretch of Fifth Avenue, with free admissions, live music, and more. Even after the Whitney has decamped to the Meatpacking, Uptown still has the museums - no one can deny.
6/15 CFDA x NY Times: Future of Fashion Talk

Join designer Tory Burch and fashion execs from Oscar de la Renta and CFDA in a panel discussion at Samsung 837. Clearly, this could have happened nowhere besides Meatpacking, the epicenter of the love affair between fashion and tech.
6/15 NY Philharmonic Concert in Central Park

…And this is just as quintessentially Uptown. NY Phil moved out of its Alice Tully Hall home for a night and plays under the stars right in Central Park. Fall under the spell of Rossini, Mozart, and Strauss. Is anything more romantic? No.
6/18 Moonshine Over Manhattan Craft Spirits Festival

The LES mainstay The Delancey Rootop is transformed into a Prohibition Era-meets-cabana lounge, with 3.5 hour open bar and live burlesque show. Nothing this sultry can be found above 59th street (or is it 14th street?), we all know.
Bottomless Brunch for Two at Bespoke Kitchen

This lovely, casual haute cuisine restaurant is full of West Village charms - and also the most talked about brunch cocktails in NYC (dubbed the “Best Bloody in the City” by Business Insider).
So are you more Downtown or Uptown? Trendy or classically elegant? East or West? Let’s hear it!
