Restaurant Name: The Stand
Location: Gramercy
The Scoop: Known for its amazing comedy club, The Stand, nestled on 3rd Ave, has amazing food & cocktails to offer - that you don’t want to miss out if you’re in the area.
The Vibe: Very sleek, lounging type dining area. Many people come there for drinks/apps before their stellar comedy shows downstairs. We need to go to one ASAP. It’s a cute date atmosphere, and the servers/bartenders were amazingly accommodating.

The Beverages:
We got there for happy hour, so we started with two of these $7 cocktails. Made with tequila, peppercorn, grapefruit juice & lime - it was absolutely divine. It was as refreshing as a summer Friday drink gets.
We had a bottle of their Pinot Noir with dinner, which paired well with all of our delectable food - so here we go.
The Grub:
For an appetizer, we were pretty overwhelmed by our choices. Our waitress told us if we were undecided the lobster spring roll was the one to get. Thank You. It was aaaaaamazing. I mean, look at it. Salivating.

Divine.
For entrees, we ordered the Pepper Crusted Seared Tuna & the Hanger Steak. Paired with some simple greens, the tuna was cooked perfectly medium rare was a light but extremely tasty choice.

The Hanger Steak, topped with onion rings and nestled on top of a sea of waffle fries was heaven on a plate. Life hack: order some truffle gravy, you won’t regret it. Absolutely insane. Delicious.

Aaaaand for dessert. The Stand’s dessert menu has TOO many good options. We might come back for drinks, desserts & a comedy show (that’s a strong plan). We decided on the Salted Carmel Pretzel Bread Pudding. I mean, it’s out of this world. We would HIGHLY recommend it. Although, our waitress did say the lava cake was amazing - but if you have read any of our previous posts, we have had lava cake before and needed to expand our options. Next time. Next. Time.

Bread Pudding Heaven in a Sea of Caramel Chocolate Pretzel Happiness.
