Venue: Taste Buds Kitchen

Location: Chelsea
Class: Tapas Espanolas
The Vibe: Taste Buds Kitchen is a great place for a variety of crews. You could absolutely go on any type of date - first date, third date, been-married-for-years-date - you name it. You have enough to do that provides a fun conversation, but you also get enough off time to enjoy each other’s company. Perfect. At the same time, talk about a a perfect spot to bring some friends for a girl’s night. There are four to a table so bring three of your friends, couple bottles of wine, and you have an amazing GNO. Get on it.

Here’s how the class goes: So with each type of food we made, we were given a demo for the preparation, which was very helpful. Then, we would go back to our tables & work with the others at our table. It is very hands on and a TON of fun.

Our instructor was very fun and cheery, & she taught us some amazing tricks that we had never heard of. From how to cut an onion so you don’t cry to finding the best way to close up an empanada, we definitely took away a lot of fabulous tips.

Onion cutting, check. Didn’t cry, check.
The Food: We prepared some pretty aaaaamazing tapas. Papas Bravas. Meatballs. Butternut Squash Empanadas. To dieeee for.

Getting ready to make some killer sauce for the Papas Bravas.

We were almost like professionals!

Time for some meatballs. Looking GOOD.

Perfect.

Finished product. Looking pretty delicious. The papas bravas were our favorite for dish of the night - it had an amazing creamy sauce. The meatballs were delicious as well and paired with a salsa of tomatoes & cooked up onions, they were on point.

Now empanada time!

The empanadas were filled with a butternut squash mixture that was A+!
