We here at pulsd, Inc. are BIG advocates for sweets. We won’t admit that we probably have a cupcake or two daily, but we won’t deny it either.
With that, we were lucky enough to indulge in some AMAZING cupcakes recently, courtesy of Sweet Surprise NY! Talk about a Monday pick me up. The lovely founder, Nicole, dropped us off a plethora of cupcakes tor try, and we were absolutely not complaining.
The first: A Nutella-stuffed chocolate cupcake w/ peanut butter frosting, topped w/ snickers. I mean, there really can’t be any better than this… First off, anything the includes Nutella is something we want to be involved with. Have that plus some ridiculously good peanut butter frosting and a hefty portion of a Snickers on top? Talk about amazing.

The second: Vanilla bean cake with homemade salted caramel frosting topped with candied bacon & salted caramel drizzle. Oooooh baby. Bacon on a cupcake?!? Yes. So. Much. Yes. The combination of the flavors - salted caramel, vanilla bean, & bacon - just really hard to put into words. So you’ll have to try yourself because we aren’t sharing.

The last, but CERTAINLY not least: Margarita cupcake. Now, usually our mentality with desserts that involve booze is that we would just rather have them separate; however, these cupcakes changed that idea. They were abbbbbbsolutely delicious. Delicious. We probably had one too many. Especially for a Monday night.

The Overview: Sweet Surprise’s cupcakes are absolutely to die for. We seriously had trouble picking which one we liked the best, so we didn’t. As well, these cupcakes are legitimately a work of art. Initially, we didn’t want to eat them because they were so pretty (but then we did, and quite frankly couldn’t stop).

You should definitely have these cupcakes at your next party! They have amazing flavors and full sized booooozy cupcakes if you really want to get a little crazy. Visit Sweet Surprise’s website and their beaaaaautiful Instagram as well! (also to note, these photos are from their Instagram - as IF we could take these amazing photos!)
